Aggarwal, who himself came for the interview, wearing Kurta emphasized how the attire has become a statement in the bay area (referring to the San Francisco Bay Area) over the years. He talked about Apple co-founder Steve Jobs wearing turtle neck T-shirts and Nvidia’s Jensen Hung Hu sporting his black leather jacket in every event.Stating that India’s startup ecosystem look up too much to the west, he said that he decided to try ‘Indian sartorial things’ by wearing kurtas.

Ola CEO asks young professionals to wear Kurtas
“We can be more comfortable in our skin in a kurta, quite literally. Our skin is our clothing, a kind of fashion sense that is uniquely Indian. In my view, the kurta is a very elegant dress,” he said.He also advocated kurtas for young tech professionals in the country. “I believe all Indians, especially the younger tech professionals, should embrace wearing kurtas,” he stated.
In the interview, Aggarwal also said that he is fully in sync with Infosys co-founder’s Narayan Murthy’s 70-hour workweek advice. When asked about Murthy's 70-hour workweek advice, Aggarwal said “I should do more, and I'm fully in sync with his (Murthy's) direction to the youth. I think he had to come back because of the state his company was in, right? And he was able to contribute after he came back and was able to turn it around. Since then, actually, even Nandan has come back in a non-executive chairman role and contributed further”.
