Calling it 'low level comedy, ' Fadnavis said, the song on former Chief Minister and now Deputy CM is disrespectful. "No one has the right to do this, this is wrong. You can do comedy but if you insult that will not be tolerated. Kamra should apologise."
He further said, Kamra has shown the constitution the same 'red constitution' that Rahul Gandhi has being showing but neither he nor Rahul have read the constitution. "If he had read the constitution it says that while you have the freedom of expression it cannot be an encroachment on another person's freedom. You cannot deliberately insult. Whatever steps have to be taken will be legally done(on Kamra)."

"We condemn this song and it cannot be tolerated. He has called people (Shinde) traitor, however the people of the state have shown in the 2025 polls who the real Shiv Sena is and who has carried forward Balasaheb Thackeray's ideology."

Performing at The Uni Continental Club in Khar West, Kamra humorously referred to Shinde as a "traitor" (Gaddar) while parodying a popular track from the film Dil To Pagal Hai.During his act, Kamra sang: “What he has done for the Maharashtra elections, we have to mention. What did they do first? Shiv Sena first left the BJP, then it left Shiv Sena…”
He followed this with the lyrics “Gaddar woh nazar aaye,” further mocking Shinde's political shifts.
The comedian continued, using the lines “Chehre pe daari…aankhon mein chashma,” to describe Shinde's appearance, and humorously singing about his "traitor" status. Kamra also included a jab related to current Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, saying, "Mantralaya se zyada Fadnavis ke godi mein mil jaye."
