Telugu film director Krish has been reportedly declared an "absconder" by Telangana Police after he failed to appear before them in connection with a hotel drug bust case. The police had summoned Krish to join the investigation on Wednesday, relating to a drugs case involving the son of a BJP leader. Notice under Section 160 of the CrPC has been issued by Telangana Police.

On February 25, three individuals, including a city-based construction and real estate firm director, were arrested for allegedly consuming cocaine in a hotel room in Gachibowli. One of the arrested individuals is also the son of a BJP leader. Krish was present at the party and was subsequently summoned by the police for questioning.

Krish's failure to appear before the authorities has led to his classification as an "absconder." The police are continuing their investigation into the matter.

Earlier, Gachibowli police had named movie director Krish in Radisson Hotel drugs case. However, Krish had told the media that he went to the Radisson hotel to meet friends and stayed there for half an hour. He said he returned from the hotel by 6:45 pm and informed the police of the same details.
