Kiren Rijiju alleges poll ‘Hijack’ in West Bengal, moves Election Commission of India
Union Minister Kiren Rijiju approached the Election Commission of India alleging that the electoral process in West Bengal has been compromised. He accused the All India Trinamool Congress of using intimidation and coercive tactics, and claimed that the administrative machinery was being misused. Rijiju said the EC has responded positively and assured steps to ensure free and fair elections, even as political tensions intensify in the state.
