Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala: A bomb threat email was received on Saturday targeting the famous Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple and Attukal Bhagavathy Temple in the city.

Police confirmed that the email contained a non-specific threat, but security agencies are not taking any chances. The Bomb Squad and police teams rushed to both temples and carried out detailed checks.

“Security measures are in place, and checks are being done. It was a non-specific threat,” police officials said.


Both temples are among the most visited religious sites in Kerala, and the news created tension in the area.
