Karni Sena president Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi shot dead by unknown assailants in Jaipur; two injured
In shocking news, Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jaipur. As per reports, national president of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena was shot dead by unidentified bike-borne criminals. He was declared dead by doctors at the hospital where he was rushed to.

As per police, one of Gogamedi's security guards was shot in the exchange of fire with the assailants, who had gone to his house in the Shyam Nagar area on the pretext of seeing him.

The incident was recorded on CCTV.

Gogamedi founded Shri Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena after being removed from the Sri Rajput Karni Sena in 2015 due to disagreements with the organization's founder, Lokendra Singh Kalvi.

In 2018, both of these organisations condemned Deepika Padukone's film "Padmaavat" for allegedly distorting historical facts regarding the Rajput community.

While one of the assailants, Naveen Singh Shekhawat, was killed in the exchange of fire, the remaining two fled on a scooty they stole from a resident outside Gogamedi's residence, he added.

One of Gogamedi's security guards was hurt in the shooting and has been admitted to a hospital's intensive care unit, he added.

"The entire incident was videotaped. We are attempting to identify and locate the other two suspects. Those involved in the murder's planning will also be apprehended," Joseph stated.
