Karnataka's delegation is heading to Davos for the World Economic Forum 2026. Minister M B Patil leads the team with a focus on turning investment plans into actual projects. They will attend over 45 high-level meetings to attract global investors...

Ahead of the visit, Patil said the state's engagement at WEF Davos will be guided by an "execution-first" approach, with a strong emphasis on converting investment intent into on-ground implementation.
During the four-day programme, the delegation will participate in over 45 high-level engagements, including bilateral meetings, roundtables and ecosystem interactions, aimed at accelerating investor decision-making and project grounding in Karnataka.
The delegation is scheduled to meet several global majors, including Amazon Web Services, Lenovo, Vast Space, Coca-Cola, Philip Morris, Imperial College London and the Singapore Economic Development Board, apart from multiple other international investors across manufacturing, renewable energy, electronics and ESDM, data centres and global capability centres (GCCs).
Patil said discussions in Davos will focus on presenting Karnataka's strong value proposition and its preparedness to translate investments into reality. Key areas of engagement will include land readiness, statutory approvals, availability of utilities, sector-specific infrastructure, supply chain linkages, skilled talent, incentive frameworks and time-bound facilitation through the state's investor support mechanisms.
"The state is prioritising real investments and their conversion. Our effort is to move investment intent swiftly towards filings, approvals, land allotments and actual execution on the ground," the minister said.
As part of the Davos programme, the Karnataka delegation will also host a focused session titled 'Karnataka's Emerging Industry Advantage', highlighting investable opportunities across key sectors and the state's ability to support faster project commissioning, Patil added.
The delegation includes Tushar Girinath, Additional Chief Secretary, Urban Development Department; S Selvakumar, Principal Secretary, Industries Department; Manivannan, Commissioner, BDA; and Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner, Industries Department, among other officials. PTI
