Karnataka eyes fresh US investments with October roadshow
Karnataka will organise an investment roadshow in the US in October to attract fresh investments and invite American companies to the Global Investors Meet 2027, while strengthening engagement with key US business bodies through Invest Karnataka.

The state will also invite US companies to participate in the Global Investors Meet 2027, scheduled to be held in April next year, he said in a statement.

Patil made the announcements after meeting consul general of the United States of America Mariana L Neisuler, to discuss investment opportunities and bilateral economic cooperation.
Karnataka will set up a dedicated engagement mechanism with the US consulate general, US commercial service, American Chamber of Commerce in India (AMCHAM) and the US-India business council (USIBC) to strengthen investor outreach, delegation planning and investment facilitation through Invest Karnataka, Patil said.
The minister said nearly 700 US companies and startups are currently operating in Karnataka, contributing to the state's technology, innovation and manufacturing ecosystem.

He said the opening of the US Consulate General in Bengaluru in January 2025 has further strengthened economic ties between Karnataka and the US.
Karnataka already has strong partnerships with the US in sectors including research and development, semiconductor equipment, aerospace, defence, healthcare, clean energy and Global Capability Centres (GCCs), Patil said.
The state will continue to focus on attracting investments in emerging areas such as electronics system design and manufacturing (ESDM), semiconductor chip design, medical technology and electronics components manufacturing, he added.
