Kanpur: Class 3 student jumps from school's first floor to imitate 'Krrish', sustains injuries

In a shocking incident in Kanpur, an eight-year-old Class 3 student jumped from the first floor of his school, inspired by the superhero movie 'Krrish.'

The young boy was impressed by the gravity-defying acts of Hrithik Roshan's character in the movie 'Krrish.' Enthralled by the superhero's acrobatics, the boy decided to imitate the daring stunts from the movie.

Sadly, his attempt to imitate the Krish movie scene failed disastrously, leaving him with serious wounds. He is undergoing treatment at a city hospital.


The incident took place at the Dr. Veerendra Swaroop Education School located in Babupurwa's NLC Colony in Kanpur. The accident happened inside the school. Pretending to refill his water bottle, the boy made his way to the first-floor railing. He jumped from a height of about 15 feet, aiming to land safely, just like his movie idol.

Unfortunately, his daring leap of faith did not go as planned. The boy sustained injuries to his nose, legs, and hands. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital for medical treatment by school authorities.

The incident serves as a reminder to parents and schools about the impact that media can have on child's mind. The parents and teachers should make sure that kids understand the difference between fiction and reality.
