Kangana Ranaut on NEET Protest: BJP MP calls CJP demonstrators 'filth' and 'garbage'

Kangana Ranaut on Monday launched a sharp attack on the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)-led protests over the alleged NEET paper leak, calling viral videos from the demonstrations "puke-inducing" and accusing protesters of spreading "filth and ugliness."

In a series of posts on Instagram, the BJP MP and actor said the visuals from the protests were disturbing and criticised the language used by demonstrators.

"I have never in my life seen so much ugliness in one place," Ranaut wrote. "The way they speak and the kind of language they are using... everything in each and every frame is so jarring and so crass all at once. Ewwww... who is birthing and raising them?"

Claiming that India is "a place of diversely beautiful people, draped in elegance and rooted in cultural sophistication," Ranaut took aim at the CJP, saying, "You call yourself cockroaches and look and behave like them as well. There is no paradox or juxtaposition there, just simply subjecting the world to your filth, garbage and ugliness."

She added that watching the videos had left her "scarred" and said she needed "some healing" and a "digital detox."

Earlier in the day, Ranaut also criticised the Opposition for disrupting Parliament during the introduction of the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Amendment Bill, 2026, accusing it of deliberately obstructing education reforms.

Speaking to reporters outside Parliament, the BJP MP alleged that the Opposition was trying to stall legislative business.

Referring to the anti-paper leak Bill, she said, "I think they have made up their minds that until they get the chair, they won't let Parliament function, no matter how crucial the issues."

She further claimed that Opposition MPs had opposed the introduction of the education reform Bill and urged the country to take note of their stand.

"Their intention is that no work should happen in the country because they did not get the mandate," Ranaut said, as the government and the Opposition remained locked in a standoff over the legislation and the alleged police action against student protesters.
