Justice Rashmin Manharbhai Chhaya sworn in as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court

Justice Rashmin Manharbhai Chhaya was sworn in as the Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court.

Assam Governor Prof.Jagdish Mukhi administered him the oath of office at a solemn function in presence of the Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma held at Durbar Hall in Raj Bhavan today.

The swearing-in ceremony was attended by Speaker Assam Legislative Assembly Biswajit Daimary, Acting Chief Justice of Gauhati High Court Justice N.Kotiswar Singh, Advocate General Assam Devajit Saikia, Judges of Gauhati High Court, members from legal fraternity, Chief Secretary, Government Assam Jishnu Barua, DGP Bhaskar Jyoti Mahanta and other senior officials of the state government.
