Cop killing: J&K Police announces ₹15 lakh reward for info on LeT terrorist

Srinagar: The J&K Police has announced a reward of ₹15 lakh for information leading to the arrest of LeT terrorist Mohammad Lateef Bhat, who is allegedly involved in the killing of a policeman in Anantnag district last month.

The police has put up posters at prominent locations across Kashmir seeking reliable information about Bhat, a resident of Kulgam, who allegedly shot dead Head Constable Ashiq Hussain at Lal Chowk in Anantnag on July 22.

The law enforcement agencies have released photographs of 22-year-old Bhat, along with a grab from CCTV footage after he allegedly shot the cop in market area.
