An injured being treated at a hospital after a landslide following heavy rainfall, in Reasi district, Jammu and Kashmir.
Lieutenant governor Manoj Sinha has constituted a three-member committee to inquire into the landslide that occurred near Ardhkuwari on the Mata Vaishno Devi track in Reasi district on August 26, in which 34 persons, mostly pilgrims, were killed. The committee has been directed to submit its report within two weeks to the chairman of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board.

J&K CM Omar Abdullah had raised questions on why the yatra was allowed to continue despite the forecast of bad weather.
