Jio users, get Canva Pro free for up to 12 months: Here’s how to claim it at no extra cost; check eligibility & details

Jio and Canva on Tuesday announced a strategic partnership to bring Canva’s premium visual communication and AI-powered design tools to millions of Jio users across India.

Under the partnership, eligible Jio users will get free access to Canva Pro or Canva Pro Lite for up to 12 months, depending on their recharge plan. The offer will be available across channels from September 16, with no additional cost or hidden charges.

Jio Canva offer: Who gets Canva Pro and Pro Lite?

Jio users recharging with the Rs 399 plan will receive access to Canva Pro, while those on the Rs 349 plan and all eligible 2GB-per-day plans priced above Rs 349 will get Canva Pro Lite, the companies said.


The benefit will be linked to the eligible Jio recharge plans and can be claimed through the MyJio app.

How to claim Canva Pro for free on Jio

Eligible users can access the offer through the MyJio app. Users need to open the app, tap on the Canva offer and start using the design platform.

The companies said users will not have to pay any additional fee or face hidden charges to avail the offer.

Canva premium features available to Jio users

Canva provides access to millions of premium templates, photos, videos and fonts, along with design and editing tools such as background removal, Magic Resize, Magic Eraser and brand management features.

The platform also offers AI-powered tools that can help users create and edit visual content. The partnership is expected to make these capabilities more accessible to students, creators, professionals, entrepreneurs and small businesses.

The companies also said the collaboration will make it easier for users to create content in Hindi and several other Indian languages.

Canva Pro Lite vs Canva Pro: What users will get

Canva Pro Lite will offer premium design essentials, including millions of premium templates, photos, videos and fonts. Users will also get one-tap background removal, basic Brand Kit features, print-ready exports, Magic Resize and Magic Eraser.

Canva Pro will offer additional features, including Content Planner, Canva AI’s conversational chat-to-design capability and higher limits for advanced AI tools.
