JEE-Main results declared: 24 candidates score a perfect 100

The National Testing Agency (NTA), on Monday, declared the cumulative result of two sessions of JEE-Main.

A total of 24 candidates have scored a perfect 100 percentile in the engineering entrance exam JEE-Main- 2022, while the result of five candidates has been withheld on account of using unfair means, the NTA informed.

The candidates who appeared for the NTA JEE Main session 2 exam from 25 July 2022 to 30 July 2022 can view their results on the official website - jeemain.nta.nic.in


Around 6,29,778 candidates had appeared in the JEE Main 2022 session 2, while 8,72,432 students in session 1.

Candidates from Andhra Pradesh (5) and Telangana (5) followed by Rajasthan (4) have scored 100 NTA score.

One candidate each from Haryana, Maharashtra, Assam, Bihar, Punjab, Kerala, Karnataka, Jharkhand, has bagged the perfect score.

As per officials, NTA score is not the same as percentage of marks obtained.

"NTA scores are normalised scores across multi session papers and are based on relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one session. The marks obtained are converted into a scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each session of the examinees," a senior official said.
