Jaishankar will visit Ukraine and Poland from September 3-5 for bilateral talks focused on strengthening ties and discussing regional developments.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will visit Ukraine and Poland from September 3 to 5, the Ministry of External Affairs said on Wednesday, as New Delhi seeks to strengthen its engagement with key European partners amid rapidly evolving regional developments.

During his visit, Jaishankar will hold bilateral consultations with Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha and Poland’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski.

The visit will focus on strengthening India’s bilateral relations with both countries, while giving Jaishankar an opportunity to exchange views with his counterparts on regional developments and issues of mutual interest, the MEA said.

Jaishankar’s Ukraine stop comes as India continues to maintain diplomatic engagement with Kyiv while also stressing dialogue and diplomacy to resolve the Russia-Ukraine conflict.
