Udhampur: To spread awareness of yoga, Jimmy, an Indian pariah dog, trained by NDRF, performed yoga along with them, as the 13th battalion of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) celebrated the 10th International Yoga Day in Udhampur on Friday.

Parveen Singh Assistant Commandant 13th Battalion NDRF Udhampur said, "On the occasion of International Yoga Day, for the last 15 days we are regularly involved in Yoga Day activities. The most important aspect is that we have involved a stray dog. To raise awareness of Yoga we have included stray dog in the activity so that people realise that if a stray dog can perform it with ease then definitely the common man should do it. Trained dogs have high IQ levels and can pick up easily but the stray dog took more time to learn yoga."
