Iranian warship sinks off Sri Lanka’s coast after submarine attack; 32 rescued, nearly 150 missing

The Iranian frigate IRIS Dena sank off Sri Lanka’s southern coast following a reported explosion. Nearly 150 crew members are missing, while 32 sailors were rescued by the Sri Lanka Navy. Sources indicate a suspected submarine attack may have triggered the blast, after which the vessel issued a distress call. The frigate had reportedly attended a military exercise in Visakhapatnam prior to the tragedy.
