Iran’s Consul General in Mumbai, Saeid Reza Mosayeb Motlagh, responded to concerns raised during the Quad Foreign Ministers’ Meeting over in the Strait of Hormuz, rejecting claims of a maritime blockade. Referring to remarks made during Marco Rubio’s India visit, the envoy said India had benefited from Iranian oil supplies for years before US sanctions disrupted trade.
