Investor Summit: Kerala receives proposals worth Rs 1.53 lk cr, says Industries Minister Rajeeve

Kerala has received offers worth Rs 1.53 lakh crore of investment across sectors at the two-day Invest Kerala Global Summit (IKGS2025) that concluded on Saturday, Industries, Law & Coir Minister P Rajeeve has announced.

This includes Rs 5000 crore investment the UAE-based shipping & logistics giant Sharaf Group announced. The company has proposed to expand its presence in the state, Group’s vice chairman Sharafuddin Sharaf said.

On receiving enthusiastic response from investors from both within India and overseas, minister Rajeeve said, “This remarkable response underscores the confidence investors have in Kerala’s progressive industrial ecosystem, strategic infrastructure, and investor-friendly policies,” he said in a statement.


He pledged to see every expression of interest received from investors turned into reality. “For Kerala and for Keralites, we will give our maximum effort to make this state a hub of knowledge industries and high-tech industries, all while staying true to our vision-nature, people, and industry, " he said.

“With a strong foundation in skilled talent, world-class infrastructure, and sustainable development, Kerala is set to emerge as a global leader in new-age industries. We will ensure that these investments translate into real opportunities, job creation, and long-term economic growth, making Kerala a model for industrial excellence,” the minister said.

Rajeeve thanked MoS (Skill Development & Entrepreneurship) Jayant Singh for his appreciation of Kochi’s water metro and offered to share insights from the success of the modern water transport with Uttar Pradesh where waterways have a great potential.
