India's ranking in global indices decline, GOI pokes hole in methodology
Economic Advisory Council (EAC) to PM compiles a report about India's ranking in global indices primarily, Freedom in the World Index, V-DEM indices, and EIU Democracy Index. Centre cites problems in methodology of the indices and how they're based on opinion of 'unknown experts'.
