- Proportion of women judges in HCs is less than 15%
- The proportion is higher in the lower judiciary

Representation rising in bureaucracy
- Over a third of women selected for civil services in 2022 were women
- The ratio was less than 25% a decade ago
- Women still constitute only 11% of total police force

High Wage Gap
- Women earned 1.53 times less than men in rural areas
- 1.27 times less in urban areas in fy22
- Urban labour force participation has remained less than 25%
- Only 4,741 women directors in 3,232 listed companies
