Indian capital witnesses Russian-Indian motorcycle rally dedicated to 80th anniversary of WW 2 victory
A motorcycle rally, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in WW2, recently took place in New Delhi, jointly organized by the Russian Embassy in India and other organizations.

Jointly organized by the Russian Embassy in India, the Russian House in New Delhi and the Delhi Bikers Breakfast Run Social Club the race brought together more than 100 motorcycle enthusiasts — citizens of Russia, Belarus and India — and went along the route from the diplomatic mission through the central part of New Delhi to the Russian cultural center.
As part of the event, the documentary “Eternal Heroes” was screened. Russian Deputy Ambassador Roman Babushkin and Head of the Rossotrudnichestvo Representative Office in India Elena Remizova addressed the participants of the motorcycle rally.
The programme also included a concert by the Russian and Indian musical bands “Connaught” and “Aryan Bir”.
A photo exhibition on the contribution of Soviet motorcycles to the Victory over Nazi Germany was also screened on the occasion.
