Indian Army showcases integrated firepower in exercise ‘Agni Varsha’ at Pokhran
The Indian Army’s Southern Command conducted Exercise Agni Varsha at the Pokhran Field Firing Ranges in Rajasthan, showcasing integrated combat power in the desert sector. The drill validated combined arms operations, precision long-range fires and network-enabled command systems. Key assets included T-90 tanks, K-9 Vajra howitzers, Bofors artillery, ALH and Apache helicopters, along with surveillance and strike drones. Attended by journalists from 25 countries, the exercise reinforced India’s readiness for swift, coordinated desert operations.
