New Delhi: India sees "perfect complimentarity" with Venezuela in ties between their ‌energy sectors, ⁠India's ⁠foreign ministry said on Thursday, after Venezuela's interim President Delcy Rodriguez held talks ⁠with Indian Prime ‌Minister Narendra Modi.

Discussions ⁠between the two countries focused on co-operation in both upstream and downstream energy projects, Rudrendra Tandon, ‌Secretary (East), in the Indian foreign ministry, told ⁠a media briefing.
