Speaking at a press briefing, Misri said, “Instead of accepting responsibility for its actions, Pakistan made wild claims that India is attacking its own cities like Amritsar and trying to blame Pakistan.”
He added, “That we would attack our own cities is the kind of fantasy only the Pakistani state can imagine. Maybe they think this way because they have done such things in their own history.”
Misri also responded to Pakistan’s attempt to spread misinformation about a drone attack on the Nankana Sahib Gurdwara. “It is another blatant lie. Pakistan is trying to give a communal twist to the situation, just to create division,” he said.
He condemned what he called Pakistan’s “provocative and escalatory actions,” which he said were clearly aimed at Indian cities, civilian areas, and military establishments.
“Our armed forces responded proportionately, responsibly and adequately,” Misri added. “Pakistan’s official denial of its own attacks is just another example of their dishonesty.”

These drones attempted to infiltrate Indian airspace at 36 locations across the western border.“Many of these drones were shot down by Indian forces using both kinetic (guns) and non-kinetic (jamming) methods,” she said. “Early investigations suggest the drones were Turkish-made Songar models, used for surveillance and testing our air defence.”
Pakistan also fired heavy weapons along the Line of Control (LoC), aiming to damage military installations, she added.
