India set to cross 'billionth Covid dose' milestone today. Here's a look at the numbers
Though the vaccination drive has slowed somewhat in October, so far about three-quarters of the country's adult population has received at least the first shot while 31% has been fully inoculated.

However, quite a few of the most populous states are way behind the national average. Compared with other countries, India is second in absolute doses behind China, but because of the large population the coverage is lower. Here's a look at the numbers:
