India reports 46,148 new covid infections, 979 deaths in last 24 hours
India witnessed slight dip in daily count of COVID-19 cases. On June 28, the country reported 46,148 new COVID-19 cases in last 24 hours. 979 deaths were also reported in the same duration taking the overall toll to 3,96,730. As many as 58,578 people got recovered and discharged in past 24 hours. The active cases decline to 5,72,994. The country's recovery rate rises to 96.80%.(ANI)
