India tells Pakistan at UN to focus on development, not territory

India on Wednesday told Pakistan at the United Nations that it should focus on development instead of “coveting territory” of other countries or “exporting terror”.

Speaking at the UN, Indian diplomat Kshitij Tyagi said Pakistan's approach would not help address the economic challenges facing the country.

“Pakistan would better serve its people by focusing on development, rather than by coveting territory of others or exporting terror, because neither these, nor its theatrics in the Council, would help repay the loans its economy survives on,” Tyagi said.


Tyagi made the remarks while responding to Pakistan at the UN.
