At the UN Security Council Open Debate on ‘Reaffirming International Rule of Law’, India said global multilateralism is under severe strain, with the UN failing to deliver international peace and security. Ambassador Parvathaneni Harish warned that discussions are shifting to “parallel plurilateral frameworks” outside the UN system. India also delivered a strong rebuttal to Pakistan’s remarks on Operation Sindoor and terrorism, accusing Pakistan of using terror as an instrument of state policy.
