India has never accepted legality, legitimacy, or competence of so-called Court of Arbitration: MEA
MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal says India does not recognise the legality or jurisdiction of the Court of Arbitration’s award under the Indus Waters Treaty. He called Pakistan’s claims misleading and reaffirmed that the treaty stands in abeyance after the Pahalgam attack, citing Pakistan’s continued terror sponsorship.
