India faces threats within, outside; rights should not be misused: NSA Ajit Doval
Mumbai: In remarks that come days after student protests in the country, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval on Saturday said the country faces challenges externally and internally and that India's progress has upset several countries. The NSA said people talk of rights but should not misuse them.

"We need to resolve to make Bharat stronger, we have not reached where we need to be. It feels that we are independent and all our responsibilities are over. However, even today Bharat is facing a lot of challenges from outside and within. Not everyone is happy with Bharat's progress. For several people, countries, interests, Bharat's progress is a threat to them and we have to tackle them," said Doval on Saturday.

Doval was speaking in Pune after being conferred with the 'Lokmanya Tilak National Award' by Home Minister Amit Shah in Pune.
