India, Australia hold bilateral defence talks in Canberra amid rising Indo-Pacific tensions

India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has landed in Australia for a landmark two-day visit aimed at strengthening defence and security ties. During his trip, Singh and Australian Defence Minister Richard Marles held a high-level Roundtable Meeting in Canberra. Both sides are expected to sign three major agreements on intelligence sharing, maritime security, and joint military activities.
