The pavilion in Dubai was inaugurated by Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal, during which event he spoke of India's talent for forming trusted partnerships. “UAE is one of India's most valued partners and a close friend. EXPO 2020 will prove to be a landmark in strengthening the relationship between the two countries further,” he added.

India’s pavilion featured multiple attractions, including a model of the upcoming Ram Mandir in Ayodhya. The pavilion itself features an innovative kinetic facade - made up of 600 individual colourful blocks - developed as a mosaic of rotating panels that will depict different themes as they rotate on their axis.
