In 2010, Haryana State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (HSIIDC) issues notices to Kasan, Khoh, Kukdaula and Sahrawan villages for acquisition of 1,810 acres of land.
Khattar, who was speaking to reporters after attending the monthly meeting of the District Public Relations and Grievance Redressal Committee, said the state government was mulling over the policy to ensure that villagers are compensated according to the current rates and not according to those prevalent a decade ago.
The special policy will be brought out only with the consent of the villagers, the chief minister said.
On a question of illegal mining, Khattar said the departments concerned are taking action on the complaints received by them.
Five dumper trucks and cranes have been impounded recently, he said.
When asked about transfer of teachers, Khattar said his government has carried out rationalisation to fix the teachers to students ratio.
Process of transferring trained graduate teachers and post-graduate teachers has been completed as per the court's directive and 8,000-odd guest teachers will be placed shortly, he said.
