Imphal-Mandalay flight may become reality, says Manipur CM N Biren Singh

Manipur chief minister N Biren Singh said that Imphal Mandalay flight may become reality.

In a office memorandum shared by the Chief Minister said, "Selection of Airline(s) under International Air connectivity schemes -IACS-UDAN, December, 2021 for Imphal-Mandalay-Imphal."

The memorandum, "This is in reference to the VC meeting held on 06.06.2022 regarding subject matter and Minutes of Meeting issued on 10.06.2022. M/s SpiceJet offered the discounts through email 07.06.2022 on above mentioned routes as under: 25% on VGF.M/s SpiceJet also agreed for operating flight 3 days in a week on both legs".


The memorandum added, "VGF outflow is on approximation basis considering various factors and same shall vary as per passenger load and market airfare. Kindly confirm the consent for payment of VGF by State Government for further action on awarding above routes."
