IMD issues heatwave alert for several states during next 5 days; check out the list
New Delhi, June 12 (ANI): India Metrological Department (IMD) on June 12 issued heatwave alert for several states including Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal during the next 5 days. IMD Scientist Naresh Kumar said, “Severe heatwave alert has been issued for the next 5 days in Andhra Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha, Chhattisgarh and West Bengal. No chance of heat wave in Punjab, Haryana and Delhi.”
