IMD issues cold wave warning for Delhi NCR & other states of North India

The weather department stated that cold wave conditions are likely over Haryana, Chandigarh & Delhi, Uttar Pradesh from November 10 to November 12, whereas severe cold wave conditions are likely to occur in parts of West Madhya Pradesh around the same dates.
East MP and Chhattisgarh are said to experience cold wave conditions between November 10 to 14, while Jharkhand and Odisha are likely to experience the same from November 11 to 12.
IMD advised the citizens to stay warm and take precautions.
The national capital recorded a maximum temperature of around 26 degree Celsius with a minimum temperature of around 13 degree Celsius on Monday amid hazy sun and unhealthy air quality.
Delhi air pollution
As winter sets in Delhi, the capital's air quality remains a major concern among citizens, experts and the government. The cold and stagnant air has worsened pollution levels in Delhi, keeping the city under a thick haze for more than a week. According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), the Air Quality Index (AQI) this morning was recorded in the ‘very poor’ category, standing at 345.Here’s the latest AQI update for Delhi-NCR:
