Organisers said the idea behind ImagiNxt is to create a common forum where technology innovation, policy and investment can be discussed together. India has more than 157,000 startups and over 100 unicorns, but industry discussions are often spread across separate events focused on founders, investors or policy.
The two-day event is expected to see more than 15,000 participants. Over 200 speakers and around 1,000 startups are slated to take part. About 300 investors are also expected to attend, along with enterprise leaders, researchers and creators.
The programme will include more than 100 sessions across five parallel tracks. These will focus on areas such as digital public infrastructure, enterprise technology, consumer technology, gaming and design.
International speakers announced include Cristina Ventura, general partner at White Star Capital, and Noi Cecilia Oldne, chief India representative of the Sweden–India Business Council. Organisers said additional global speakers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Indian speakers will include investors Shailesh Lakhani and Dipanjan Basu, as well as founders Rohit Chennamaneni, Sanjay Nekkanti and Sanjeev Sharma.
