Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has reduced the fee for new post graduate (PG) students, who joined during the second semester 2021-22 or later. As a result, the MTech full time tuition fee has been reduced from Rs 25,000 per semester to Rs 17,500 per semester. The IIT had raised the fee for PG students starting this year from the month of January.

According to a press statement issued by the IIT, this decision was taken on the basis of recommendations of the committee set up by the director to look into the representation made by a set of MTech students.

Similarly, the tuition fee of other PG programmes have also been reduced. In addition to the tuition fee, there is a reduction in other components of fees as well, according to the statement by the institute.
