IAS officer Dharmendra appointed Chief Secretary of the National Capital Territory of Delhi

The Ministry of Home Affairs on Saturday notified the appointment of IAS officer Dharmendra as the Chief Secretary of the National Capital Territory of Delhi.

A 1989 batch IAS officer from AGMUT cadre , Dharmendra has been transferred from Arunachal Pradesh and will take the up the responsibility from September 1.



He replaces Naresh Kumar, a 1987-batch IAS officer, whose extension ended on August 31. Kumar's tenure was extended twice by the Centre.
