In a strict warning to eve teasers, Hyderabad police have warned against any misbehavior against women. A video shared by Hyderabad Police on their official X handle has sparked widespread attention, gathering over 1 million views. The video shows a man inappropriately touching a woman in a crowded area. Hyderabad Police, along with the clip, wrote, "Your behaviour is being recorded by our She Teams on the roads, public places, and wherever you are misbehaving. Killing your ill intentions is the only mantra to keep you safe from being jailed." Despite the video going viral, it remains unclear whether any action has been taken against the individual involved.

Public Reaction and Concerns

The post triggered a series of reactions, with many users expressing concerns about the lack of follow-up actions against the perpetrator. One user commented, "Recording the behaviour is one aspect, but punishment is the real solution. How many are punished is the real problem?" Another suggested, "Please put the pictures of offenders publicly and shame them." Users urged the police to take stricter measures, with one stating, "These perpetrators should be taught a tough lesson."

Debate Over Police Actions

Some users questioned the approach of recording the incident rather than intervening immediately. "Can't believe the police kept recording it instead of stopping it—hope this is not the case if somebody is killing somebody," wrote another user, expressing frustration over the apparent lack of immediate action.

In a separate incident, Hyderabad Police booked three people attending a birthday party for allegedly consuming ganja. The raid, conducted at around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, led to the recovery of 40 grams of dry ganja and several liquor bottles. A total of 18 people, including two junior artistes working in films, were arrested, comprising 12 men and six women.

The viral video shared by Hyderabad Police has opened a larger conversation around public safety and the efficacy of monitoring versus punishment. The public has made it clear that while recording such incidents is important, taking immediate punitive actions remains a priority for ensuring accountability.
