Hundreds of people congregated at the restaurant for the free Haleem offer, causing chaos and disrupting traffic, as shown in a video shared by PTI.
According to Times of India, Malakpet inspector U Srinivas said that a case would be registered for disrupting the free movement of traffic. “The hotel management did not inform police in prior about the free offer nor did they take any permission. For creating disturbance to free movement of traffic a case will be registered," as quoted by TOI.
Meanwhile, the Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind announced the sighting of the Ramzan moon in various parts of India, declaring the commencement of fasting on March 12, 2024, as reported by PTI. This marks the start of a month-long fasting period observed by millions of Muslims globally.
