Rythu Bandhu scheme to be limited in the next term
Responding to criticism that the Rythu Bandhu scheme benefits the wealthy, KTR stated that the party will consider limiting it to four acres in the next term. He also highlighted the fiscal prudence of the state government, asserting that all borrowings remained within the limits set by the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management (FRBM) Act. KTR compared the state's financial situation before and after Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, stating that total borrowings increased from Rs 56 lakh crore to Rs 112 lakh crore under Modi's leadership. He further stated that Telangana's Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) has increased and the state now leads the country in per capita income.
