Hyderabad: 28-year-old dies during smile-enhancing surgery, weeks ahead of marriage
A 28-year-old businessman tragically died during a dental procedure in Hyderabad. The police are investigating the incident and have registered a case against the clinic for negligence.

Laxmi Narayana had visited the clinic alone for a 'smile designing' procedure. Later that evening, he was informed by the staff that his son had lost consciousness during the process and was subsequently rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead upon arrival.
According to news reports, Laxmi Narayana had become engaged just a week prior and was scheduled to marry next month.
In his complaint, Ramulu emphasized that his son had been in good health when he left their residence in Hydernagar near Kukatpally, with no prior health issues, placing blame on the doctors for negligence.
"We have obtained medical records from the clinic and are gathering CCTV footage," a police official told TOI.
News reports citing another police official said that Laxmi Narayana arrived at the clinic around 2:30 pm on February 16, and the procedure commenced around 4:30 pm, lasting nearly two hours. At approximately 7 pm, the clinic contacted his father, and he was immediately rushed to Apollo Hospital in Jubilee Hills, where he was declared dead on arrival, the police official said, adding that the body has been sent for autopsy.
