A Hyderabad-based company on Wednesday donated Rs 2 crore to TTD's SV Pranadana Trust.

Representatives of the company handed over the donation documents to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) additional executive officer Ch Venkaiah Chowdary, an official release from the temple body said.

"Hyderabad-based company donated Rs 2 crore to Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust," it said.


Established in November 2001, SV Pranadana Trust or Sri Venkateswara Pranadana Trust aims to provide free medical facilities to poor patients stricken with life-threatening diseases related to heart, kidneys, brain, cancer and others.

TTD is the custodian of Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Tirupati, considered the richest Hindu shrine in the world.
