How India is getting better at information and communication tech skills

The latest data released by MoSPI shows that in 2020-21, over 40% of the population aged 15-29 could operate a computer, compared to a third of the people in 2017-18.

The pandemic seems to have helped improve skills in information and communication tech (ICT) with rural India seeing faster progress since 2017-18 though the male-female gap remains the same.
