The baby had marks of strangulation on its neck, as confirmed by the authorities. An FIR has been filed against Anil Uikey under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and he has been taken into custody.
In Betul district of Madhya Pradesh, a man allegedly killed his newborn son while under the influence of alcohol. The accused, identified as Anil Uikey, expressed disappointment as he was hoping for a daughter since he already had two sons, according to the police.

The incident took place in Bajjarwad village on Sunday evening. Anil Uikey, in an inebriated state, assaulted his wife and forcibly took their 12-day-old son away from her, stated Anil Uikey, the in-charge of Kotwali police station. Fearing further harm, the woman fled the scene. When she returned home later, she discovered their baby lifeless inside their hut.

The baby had marks of strangulation on its neck, as confirmed by the authorities. An FIR has been filed against Anil Uikey under the relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), and he has been taken into custody.


During the investigation, the accused confessed that he was expecting a daughter when his third child was born, as he already had two sons, shared the official.
