The event titled Dholavira to Narendra Modi being performed by top artists of the country at the Siri Fort being held by the Delhi Public School Society, Ghaziabad and Sela Qui International School is being supported by the ministries of I&B, culture and the Indian Council for Cultural Relations.
Om Pathak, chairman, DPSG Society and also a senior BJP office bearer said the event will showcase the best traditions of Indian States, and send across a message of unity to school students.
"When the tukde tukde incident happened in JNU or when we saw helpless Afghans trying to flee their country when the Taliban took over, I wondered how important a nation is, and without a nation there is no security. The dance drama will be a celebration of India's civilisational glory, the progress we are making now and the future we look at," he added.
The programme is part of the government's efforts to get society involved in organising events to commemorate Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav.
