High inflation, weak currency: Sambit Patra cites old article on UPA-era BRICS summit

BJP MP Sambit Patra says in Delhi on BRICS Summit 2026 that "I in BRICS stands for India" representing 1.4 billion people and alleges that Congress and opposition members are "suffering from indigestion because India is surging ahead" while citing 2011-2012 articles that claimed "India lacked meaningful reforms and was falling behind" and "With high inflation and weak currency, India is not like other BRICS countries" and that "BRICS was weakening, and the 'I' within it was becoming shaky."
